Why someone would add a maintenance item like points is beyond me. I put a 2Ki EI in my '72 and it runs great - nothing left for me to check behind the points cover.

I also have a HD unit in my stash, that may get installed for a test, but I don't have the rotor cup pickup to go with it yet.
