I delayed it a lot. It runs great. Just seems like once it's warmed up and I blip the throttle while idling it's not as smooth as it should be. Seems better with the 27.5 and 1 3/4 turns out and the pump delayed.
Otherwise it's a screamer.
Wondering maybe the ckp?

How is it cold? When it's better cold you're too rich. If it gets worse as your engine temp rises you're too rich.
Is your mixture screw adjusted for best idle? No cheating allowed here. If it's not it throws everything else off.
If you open the idle mixture screw (another) 1/2 turn is it better or worse?
What is "ckp"?

Ok took it out for a nice nice hiway cruise and I think I got it. Need to bring squirter back on a little sooner tho or maybe raise my needle.
27.5 1 3/4 turns 97 needle middle groove 170 main.
Nice idle.

Crank position sensor.
Another 1/2 turn either way is worse.
I don't know how some of you are running a 17.5 pilot. Mine popped like crazy and even died a couple times with a 20 at 1 turn out. You must be up there with the airplanes at 10,000'!

CycleShacks should be here tomorrow. Wish I could afford to play on a dyno. I think the straightshots with the HP Plus baffles would smoke it pretty good. Especially upstairs. But I think the CycleShacks will pull harder in the basement and 1st floor.

I might add this was right at dusk, low 70s, humidity around 68% at 630' ABS. Plenty of air! I'm sure it's a little on the rich side tho. Has to be to get an idle like that with the lower compression of a 1250 flat top with the 570s. Doesn't pull the fuel as well as a motor with 200+ cranking compression. I'll most likely go back to the 25 pilot. I think with the 25 I can fine tune the idle with the screw for changes in temp/humidity. I'll tune the pump to come on a little sooner than it is now too tho. It's quite late now. MAYBE raise the needle tho. I'm heavy on the throttle and it feels a little lean at first rolling on it hard.
Going to experiment with the timing now.
