You missed out on a good time. Three shades of white today.

New motto for life; keeping my shit tight and my mood light. Trying for New Years in AZ.

We had a ride season? Must have been those two-three weekends when it didn't rain and was below 100F. Brutal year for MA riders.

So much for ‘hoping’ for a warmer day. Time to a add the seafoam, put the bikes in stasis and seal the shed till spring. Weather played a big part of this past years ridding or should I say the lack of this years ridding. To wet or to hot. Ridding in the crowded northeast is really getting to be a challenge.
Did get to roll down the moonshiners28 and deals gap again at this years meet&greet. Best ride was the ‘where’s parrothead’ ride thru vermont. Besides getting my only mortorcycle ticket in 50 years, the roads were awesome and it ended at a great weekend cookout.

Still thing about early spring in South Carolina Kev?

Have you taken any deer yet Mick? I filled my doe tag Saturday's opening day. 12" of snow and 32° out. Had wind gusts up to 20-25 mph. Snow is great for tracking but makes it harder to hear anything coming. I use Howard leight sport impact noise amplifying ear muffs which have a microphone on the outside of them and speakers Inside and they amplify any outside sounds very well but when you shoot the mic turns off and they act like regular ear muffs to muffle the sound of the gun. I mainly use them for the noise amplification. You would be amazed how much more you can hear with them. They have helped me hear deer coming way before I would hear them with just my ears and I can be prepared sooner to take a shot If I get the opportunity to. They do a good job at muffling the sound of the gun as well. It makes my 300 win mag sound just a little bit louder than a 9mm when I have them on.

Since the October full moon all the deer have been waving at me from the other side of the swamp at my main hunting spot. The swamp is full like I’ve never seen in all the years I’ve hunted there. At least the tick count is down this year.
It’s still archery season here but shot gun season starts next Monday at which time that 60 yard shot accross the swamp should not be a problem. I got two doe tags I’d like to fill.
The cyote’s behind my house have chased that small group of doe’s into a place I can’t get into legally.
