Alpinestars are the only MX boots I have every bought that feel “broke in “ from day 1.
Advice I heard years ago and I currently heed, “don’t skimp on shoes and mattresses “
Gear is usually priced accordingly in my experience.

I have several sets one of which are Tourmasters. Second pair of them actually, and dollar for dollar the protection and comfort would be hard to beat. Very pleased with these going on 4 years and still in very good shape.

I have a feeling "a pair" will turn into "two pair" as dissimilar as my 2 bikes are.
Know which version Tour Master boots you have?

They both are/ were WP, non air, about $120. Relatively water resistant and remarkably comfortable off the bike. For warmer weather I had picked up a pair of Icon, “Overlord”, very lightweight, well vented and “CE” certified, perfect for track days and hot weather. Then in the back of the closet I have a pair of Sidi, “Giacomo Agostini” signature circa 1970 blue leather boots, brought out for special occasions.

I returned to biking 3 years ago and bought a pair of Alpinstar Gunner WP boots.
I have been very happy with them. Never felt any cold in my feet during cold weather riding and no sweaty feet in the summer. They don't feel heavy when walking around in them either.

I have some TCX Adventure Boots which are good all-round boots for a bike like the Sportster.

Does anybody make boots for wide feet?
By the time I get them wide enough, they're too long............

+1, have a pair of TCX Drifters and like them a lot...only downside is the suede gets scuffed and dirty looking pretty quickly but I can live with that.

Have you thought about taking a pair of your boots to a cobbler, he/ she could stretch them.
