Yes, if there were not courts.

The ammo shortage is doing a pretty good job at making all these guns nothing but expensive clubs or wall art.. There seems to be a shortage on powder and primers, too. They keep telling us it's greater demand and supply can't keep up.

Well the shortage is one sided. Some have “adequate supply”, some didn’t plan ahead... I know the side I’m on.

Quite a few here simply don't understand. Congress has no authority to ban (not legal to possess, etc.) any weapon, substance, marijuana, alcohol. That authority only exists in the reserved powers. They tried to ban alcohol and it required an Amendment, they tried with marijuana and the Court killed it; they didn't get an Amendment which is why it's still "regulated" (not banned). It's illegal because they won't let you register it.

from a 70s song: We just sat and waved, sittin on that sack of seeds.
I learned how to reload in 1961. Kinda good at it now. When 9/11 happened I had nothing, no firearms, ammo, nothing. By 2003 I had everything Ill ever need.
Want blows my mind is the cost of stuff today. I paid $80 for 5000 CCI 34 primers 10 years ago. They are now $150 per 1000.
While friends invested in gold, silver, and platinum, I was buy collecting brass, copper, and lead.

Biden has already said what he will do "to prevent gun violence": $1,000 registration fee for each high-capacity magazine.
When that has no effect, there is no legal reason he can't add a "0" by executive order.
Quoting my civil law professor of 60 years ago: "the power to tax is the power to destroy".
