I used the green craft foam from Micheals... Really easy to shape with 36 grit wheels. I finish sanded with 150 after the rough cuts. I am going to use fleece for the base layer of glass and the weave to finish it off. Don't know yet if the foam will react to the resin. I have some scraps to test on. If it does I'll probably paint it with latex paint then glass it. I glued the blocks together with this...

I also picked up these... 1 7/8 for 2.5 inches necked up to 2 1/4 the rest... Less than 8 lbs...
