Yup. Like paul said above you are correct on that. 1 open ended end cap is equivalent to 8-10 disks so according to Supertrapp my pipe should perform the same way as it does now with 20 disks and the open end cap as it would with 28-30 discs and a closed end cap.
There is even an adjustable end cap that you can open and close to make more adjustments with.

i went with the $100 Super Trapp. Had to grind down my brake pedal, and the front foot pegs don't work with it. I will report once break in is complete.
