im hoping the pain from shifting will let up alittle the more I use the foot but im just so stoked to be back on the asphalt again ended up having to take a few pain pills when the day was over because my leg and foot where killing me but it was so worth wile

I feel your pain, well, some of it anyway. I just have had a Cervical-Thoracic fusion, C7-T1 and will have to be really careful to follow the surgeons instructions to allow the graft site to grow together and become strong. Mentally you are thinking positively which can aid healing but too much activity, too soon, even though feeling good can inhibit your recovery. Your young, you'll heal fast, so some unsolicited advice from an old man, push the envelope a little but don't completely ignore the recovery advice from your surgeon. Your body will reward you for it.
