Believe he did a leak down test on another thread. It would have leaked down really fast(immediately) with a bent valve.

Lifter bore is perfect.
The Rubbermounts use nylon ? bolt down anti-rotation blocks instead of pins.
Lifter did not rotate as far as I can see.
The other 3 cams and lifters are perfect.
Pushrods are perfect.
That valve is leaking like its bent or ?

My '05 rubbermount uses capscrews threaded into the lifter boss as anti rotation pins along flats on the lifter body. Pretty solid setup.
Part No: 18532-00A anti rotation screw.

Could it buy chance with a taller lift come away from the the nylon guides or you got some serious binding in valve or spring or valve retainer hitting the top of the guide.

I agree with what you said. The lifter was not turned. When we pulled the cam the roller was aimed the right direction. No damage or marks to the anti-rotation cage. If that lifter turned it surely would have damaged that cage.
And what's even more curious is that the roller on the lifter still spins freely?

I left before George and Pete pulled the head but the leak-down did show a small amount of leakage at the exhaust valve. Not leaking real bad but it shouldn't be leaking at all.

Someone educate me here...could either the valve spring binding or the hydrosolid lifter going solid when it shouldn't cause this kind of damage?
