Default Service Manuals

Harley Davidson Sportster Service Manuals

2005 HD Manufacturers Manual (Good for 2004-2006)
Clymer Sportster Service Manual (Good for 2004-2013)

I used the combination to service my 2004. Clymer is a great quick reference and the Harley Davidson Service Manual is filled with much more detail!

As new, little use and very clean.

$60 (for both!) Shipped -CONUS

PayPal preferred.

Pictures, I just can't figure out how to attach it?

Just to be clear the 2005 book from Harley is MOSTLY the same as 2004 and 2006, but there are a few differences. I can't remember what off the top of my head, but I definitely came across a few when I was writing the www.CyclePedia.com 2007+ Sportster manual and double-checking the 2004-06 one.

That's a good deal. I'd buy it but I recently bought the HD service manual and parts manual for my 05 for $50.
I also have an electronic version on my tablet that cost little or nothing to download. It consists of 2 parts. A service manual and electrical diagnostics. Like you said, good for a quick reference.
Someone should snatch these up.

The difference between 2004 and 2005/2006 is the back axle size. The Swingarm was also sized a little differently for the larger axle. The Clymer Manual has the correct torque for the 2004 and the HD Manual is correct for the 2005/2006 rear axle torque.

I believe that is the only difference.
