Hey guys, I have finally got around to installing my mini apes with the low riser on the custom....I have some questions for those of you who have done the same!
Hey guys!

I did the custom to low riser. I had to convert the Jewel to LED because HD does not sell the Jewel or mounting brackets/lens. So to convert I had to purchase a new wire harness with the LED lights. In turn I had to sauter the wires from the old plug to the new ones! I thought it would be a piece of cake and take 2-3 hours!

Luckily for me it took about 5..... Transferring the wires seemed to be a challenge! The old plug had many black wires labeled with the color they should be and what they do. On the new harness it was all colored, so I had to go through the EFI electrical diagram and my 06 service manual to compare and match them up! I got everything take care of and matched up according to what was labeled on the wire and what color they should go to.

After I got it all buttoned up everything seemed to work...at least I thought!

When I switch on the right indicator the neutral light flashes.....and even when the bike is in gear it still displays the neutral light...

I am really stuck and can’t figure it out! Does anyone who has done this have any experience/pics of how they matched them up? I also noticed that there is an extra Yellow/White wire (gas level?) I left that one unconnected.

You have something wired wrong. Only wires you should have extended are the wires going to your switches on the end of the bars.

sounds like your neutral wires are shorted to ground... check your connectors! your prol have one touching on accident

Default fuel tank ?

Your bike looks awesome ! What tank did you use? I'm wanting this and mini apes for my 06 Roadster. ( hoping not to change cables or brake line ) I can't handle leaning forward. Don't want to change seats, the one I have feels good, for now. I'm a newbie to Harley, so hoping these fit mine.
Thanks, in advance
