Been a long time ago but I bought one of those oil impregnated bushing chains.

Yeah treat it like a non lubed chain. I saw no major advantage over stock standard diamond chain myself. Figured it was hype later on. My diamond chains came from Caterpillar Tractor supply out here for the cotton farmers. Back then. Regular chain was 30 bucks for 115 links. Not sure what the gouge price now is. Good thing I stocked up.

I've been running Diamond brand chains. I've found with regular cleaning and lubing I get 4k miles out of a conventional chain and 14k out of the Oring. So, 3x the mileage for only 2x the price, plus the sprockets will last longer.

I'm running an original rear OEM sprocket with 50k on it. I've found the V-Twin brand front sprockets to be good quality, measuring very hard at ~65Rc and showing little wear after 6k miles.

Some of the British bike parts vendors sell KCM 530 chain, it is standard (not HD) width so less chance of clearance issues on classic bikes, quality is good. Put one on my Norton recently and I like it a lot...
DID is good too from what I have read.

EK and RK are by far the best.
I have a 225HP drag bike running 5.50@128 1/9 time and it never stretches. (RK)

I don't doubt that the better RK chains are quite good...but FWIW the cheap (about $35) base model 530 is not, they wear very quickly.
