Ecclestone unloaded that pig in a poke at exactly the right time for $4BUS. $250-300MUS per year for a modest non-competitive team. It is disgusting. They could go back to the V10 Renault engines and do it for less than half than that and make the racing a lot better.

Or the 3 litre DFV Cosworth....I thought those years were the best if F-1

We have two race tracks in Brisbane. Lakeside and Willowbank. My mate, John Tetly owns both of them. So I can go there whenever I want. Lakeside is only 20 minutes from me.
The only car races I will go to are for the Historics they run at Lakeside. They run a class called "Appendix J". Cars from the late 60's early 70's.
But now they know how to get 700-899 HP out of those old engines.
People rush to the fences when they come on. They probably shouldn't. The armco at Lakesdie is WAY too close for cars traveling that fast with that much weight behind them. But it's good as your close enough to see the drivers fighting the beast in the hopes of keeping it together and just in front of that green Mustang.
I can't wait for the computerized electric vehicles take over Formula 1 racing completely.
I've been some new software that I am pretty sure will get me on the podium in a World Championship.

The E Formula is even worse. Race around until your Diehard is empty and you go to the pits and get a whole other car. How stupid is that? Full of endurance racers and also rans who can avoid wrecks and follow the leader. Nobody watches or goes to those stupid races. Except for the Green People who think that driving a Prius and becoming a vegetarian will save the planet. Yes, these people are THAT important. Meanwhile 3 billion people cook with charcoal twice a day and run coal fired plants and are giving the climate people the giant finger. Here it is just a bunch of virtue signaling by people who have egos the size of Vermont. I used to play golf with an asshole who would lecture us about "Leaving the planet a better place for our children" and twice a year he would fly back to Atlanta and attend a week long "play race driver" school using real Porsches. and he owned 4 cars. We laughed at him so much he finally quit.

I suspect when he does finally leave the planet, it will make the planet a better place for all of us.
