I heard a slightly different version of the same saying when I was a kid.

"There are brave mice, and there are old mice..."

funny thing is that "wrist problems" can allow a guy the chance to get old, fat, and bald.

I heard that but with pilots.

Absolutely correct... i agree completely...

only it's weird to see evident "wrist problems" (dubbed "polsite" in italian) aboard of hyper tech Supersports...

P.S. sure a guy grow older over time... the alternative is worse...
i prefer to keep myself fit though

Plane pilots of course

“There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots, but there are no old, bold pilots.”

They also say the last words before most crashes are "Watch this"

i get it

IMO there is something similar between riding and flying...

i say so even if i have piloted only twice some hangliders (one with and the other without the engine)...

twice i was aboard like a passenger of a propeller driven rigid superlight open aircraft... a very exciting experience...

I've always said: Riding my bike is the closest I can get to flying, all I'm missing is the Z axis.

I was coming back into town with a highway patrol cruiser behind me when a car pulled out in front of me.
The HP got them. Does that count?

What I like about the Sportster is that when I’m going through gears, having fun, feeling like I’m really getting on it, and then realize that I’m keeping up with some mom in a SUV.

Default "friend" from work

2014 103ci wide guild, less then 10,000 miles the clock, stage I with s&s gear cams, shop dyno tune. guy I worked with for 25 years self styled " I am the best motor mech ever", bough hist first bike 2yrs ago. he had bragged about how incredible fast it is after the shop installed all the parts, and is having shop build an '05c 883 conversion for him also. mine 2007 nightster, stage 1, rush slip-ons, hammer crush air cleaner and power commander tune.
invited him to roll one off stop light to stop light- first run he was a slow show. I asked for a second run back and gave him a head start, ran by him again 'cept this time he ended up bending his front intake valve, beat/broke up the piston, broke the top 2 piston rings and oil was dripping off of rear plug. it had to be trailered home then to the shop. I haven't seen that much motor carnage since pre evo days.
he asked what it would take to fix it, I said learning to ride.
his 883 conversion is done now and I want to get him to roll one off with my conversion= 883 '00c xb heads over a 1275 kit, supertrapp, baker six speed. I will give him 2 bike lengths this time- can't wait
