DK Customs Air Intake
Will this PN be sufficient for a CV51? I don't care about the air element as that is easy to change.

My choice of the CV is based off of that that is all that I have ever used is a CV and have never had any issues with them delivering the fuel and air that is needed for the engine. Why change from a product that works? Could this change, ABSOLUTELY! But as of now, the CV is what I am intending on using.

So you are going to fit the same size carb on a 74" Sportster that you installed on your 124" TC?

Dayum. Is that all bore, or are you stroking it too?
Edit: if you don't make at least one dirty joke, I'm gonna be real disappointed. That one was low and right over the plate.

Nice. I like the big bore stuff better, no need to alter the frame.
My completely unsupported by facts gut feeling is the 51 will be too big.
But the only way to tell will be the dyno.
It also depends where you want the power, midrange or top end.
I hope you keep us posted on the build, I love big bore Sportsters.

That looks to be the same (or very similar) air filter element used on many air cleaner assemblies, including in the HD/SE CV51 kit.
