It's not a RR Meteor tank motor due to the displacement and non redundancy, it seems more diesel.

possibly.but diesels without turbo or supercharger are uncommon.and i haven't spotted an injector pump yet.diesels are reluctant to make power without some type of forced induction.

Picture is too small for me, but i see no distributor, looks all mechanical fuel injection with bleeders ala 2 stroke GM naturals.

Which in that case, would shake the car into at best 2 foot square bits of iron steel and glass..

The alternator is prolly 20 amp, which means a boat engine, as the electrical needs of a 1950 cheap Euro car was 12 amp at best for a unreliable battery.
