Default My cafe’ build (pic heavy)

Hey all,

Today is wash and detail day, so I figured I’d post up some pics of my cafe’ project thus far. It’s a 2016 Roadster that I picked up used with low miles, it had been knocked over in a guys garage and the tank and rear fender were trashed, peferfet for what I wanted. I’ve been at it a while, and have several projects planned. Next is a big rear brake kit and powdercoating the pulley gloss black. I’ve been waiting for RSD (V&H) to go back into production with the track exhaust. I’ll pull the trigger on that when it happens. Cheers!

Very clean and tastefully done! What tool (spanner wench) did you use on the rear shocks to take out the preload with out boogering up the holes? It looks like you backed the collars all the way off, as I don’t see any threads showing.. How does it feel in the rear at that setting and how much do you weigh? Thanks

Default Sweet ride

What have you used for the rear lights, I dont recognize them. Nice package you have with your mods. Keep it safe!

Thank you! I currently weigh 179, pre-surgery/covid 165. It rides really nice; these are shocks off of a 48, so 2.5” shorter than the stock roadster shocks. With the rearsets, its literally impossible to scrape within the limits of traction.
