Default RSD Exhaust Pipes???

Hey all,

Has anyone ever installed the RSD 2-1 tracker Exhaust Pipes on a sportster?? I'm leaning towards it, and I wanna know how it'd work out for passengers. I know I can get the bracket to adjust the passenger pegs here:

http://www.hdforums.com/forum/sports...2011-48-a.html

But I wanna know if it'd be hot for them, if it'd get unbearable after an hour or two, stuff like that.

Thoughts?

AFAIK this pipe is meant for solo seat setups.
Not just the proximity of the pipe to the rear passengers leg.
The actual exhaust outlet would be very close to their leg as well.

RSD pipe is made by Vance and Hines.
They have a few setups with 2 into 1 that would be more appropriate for two up riding.

Yeah . . . I figured. Well, maybe heat wrap will help with that, you think?

If anything, I'd need the passenger pegs to put my own feet on -- clip ons with mids aren't a greet feeling.

Maybe check out V and H Competition pipe?
Lightweight, aggressive compact look, but better suited to 2up.
But if you are going to rearset mounting as per above then Tracker would work. (Assuming no passenger)

It would? How do you figure?

Is it possible to put the passenger pegs on upside down, after all?

Just in case I have muddied the waters a bit.
Check out OCGreenmachine's post in this sub forum.
He has an RSD exhaust with rear sets that fits up pretty well.
This would only be practical in a single passenger arrangement.

If you are running a passenger, you can't use this setup.

I definitely will! Thanks!

I don't think I can go full on rearsets, but if I could at least have those rear pegs to put my feet on, I would be happy . . . I just hope they'll fit

I ran the RSD Tracker 2-1 on my bike for about 8 months... It was a nice pipe with a nice sound. I had mid controls when I first installed it and then got custom Chainsikle rear sets. There is a passenger peg relocation kit if you run mid or forward controls sold through either Vance and Hines or RSD(can't remember which one sold it), so it can work for passengers. Take a look at the first part of my cafe racer post to see pictures of the RSD pipe on my bike before I swapped it out.
