Default Thinking of building a custom blast...

And the first comment is WHY???? Or, WTF???? But those of you who know me from past bikes, I'll make it something cool. Got some ideas for things but there really are no easy sources for parts except NRHS for the drivetrain. I'd like to put a nice front end on it but not sure what will fit. Since I don't have a machine shop, I'd like to find a Kaw or Honda front end that could fit with a little work. Any ideas or sources for cool blast parts are welcome....

Welcome back Russ, you’ve been missed,(and not answering messages). Be interesting if the stem and bearings are standard Sporty fare, if so then there are plenty of threads with. Options listed.

I always thought the Blast had a lot of potential and I would have liked to see that engine in a better looking frame than the introduction of the Street series.

Welcome back!

And I can sell you anything you need to build your own machine shop, just saying ...

Go for it! I have a Blast sitting in my garage that the kid lost interest in. It may give me some ideas.

What type of custom blast are you thinking? Something that will go anywhere? More like a scrambler type build? Sounds fun to me, keep us posted and you have to take pictures!

I looked on ebay before posting for buell hardtail frames. They are as pricey as a sidecar. But. I may be looking wrong. This one sure looks good

Just posting while tacking a break < need a breather > after re-arranging my shop and getting my hard tail on the outside lift.
