So vaccinating a person means they cannot transmit the virus through their spittle if they are reinfected?

I don't think we know yet. The primary purpose of the vaccine, which tests have shown that it does fulfill, is to reduce the likelihood of someone who is exposed to the virus dying or becoming seriously ill.

It is possible that the vaccine prevents people from becoming infected, and of being able to pass it on to others, but those data aren't available yet.

First off, Rand Paul is a jackass and anyone who takes him seriously can't be taken seriously themselves.

Second, Where did you come up with the arrogant assumption that I do not see or hear anything that disagrees with my preconceived notions?

Since Science is ALWAYS in flux, I am always seeing and hearing things that not only disagree with any preconceived notions but change my thoughts as new strides in science are published.

What I do not agree with, and never will agree with is total nonsense, like every word out of that self serving jackasses mouth.

All politicians are crooked.
It's a contract they sign before they are allowed to be sworn in.

And I'll have you know Mr. Ed is not a jackass.
He's a horse, of course.
