thank you for all the responses, I want to also get rid of those pull back risers, trying to figure out the easiest way. I think I remember the connectors and wires hidden in there were inside the xl 1200 style headlight in earlier models. Has anyone done this with ease ?

I went wit h Chromeworks, I forget what they are called. I ran the wires internally. I lie what you did. They look really nice.
