Test ride will tell a lot.
Here in AZ, 3% of MSRP in repairs deems it totaled. 3% can be added up in a few scratches, chrome pieces and the labor to replace it. I know I have written up some ins estimates and I included every screw, clip and shiny crap that did not appear new. It adds up quick .
The test ride will reveal most. To say it’s utter junk is a premature statement.
FWIW, any shovel or Ironhead frame I’ve seen put back in the frame jig, accident or not, needed work.
It’s up to the buyer to look it over.

How many bike have cracked or bent frame from crash that was not reported to insurance: countless.
Spend a 100$ for a expertise then from the expert report you now have a good shot at the dealer to lower is price.
We shall always have an inspection when buying a vehicule, that was what my mother said to me when young. I got a lemon and complain to her about it. Do you need your mom advice also?
