Default Neat trick-- No split ends

In addition to my trek into carb rebuilding, insulator blocks, etc., I learned a new-to-me trick. You guys who already know this one, just scroll on to the next topic.
The old guy (and that's saying something since I'm 75) helping out suggested a fix to keep from fraying the throttle cables where the lock screw grabs them.
A 1" piece of 3/32" copper or brass tubing from the local hobby shop slid over the end of the cable then lightly crimped with a pair of terminal pliers keeps the end from unraveling while giving a good place for the lock screw to grab.
Plus, it just looks more professional.

That’s a good thing, thanks.

I use these on electrical wire, known as wire end ferrules. They come with or without the plastic. I could also use them for cable ends.
