Default Help please gen

I bought NIB CE Gen 65a for my 72 XLCH now my 3rd one in 1 yr. I also bought NIB at sametime Bosch Reg and Drag Battery

Before hooing Gen up I followed You tube video Gen Test the one where gen is on Bench and you hook battery cables to it

It spun right up gear away from me it spun CW

Hooked all up minute later
Took bike out Dead battery 2 hrs later.

I took Gen out checke it again sameway as above with Cables
NOW its spinning Counter Clock wise

I checked all wiring AGAIN on bike all new neat Heat srinkedperfectly 16g on all wiring.
12g on Battery, Gen, Reg

After polorizing Gen again the way Sticky says #2 way I starte bike did the maxxed out Gen Volt test

Meter Pos to (A) on Gen
A Heavy Jumper to (F) on GEn
Neg Probe on Meter to Batt Neg Post

Digital Meter jumping all over 1v 8v 20v just all over

one thing I did notice is all the numbers flashing all had a -MINUS sign before the number

Also before discovering Gen was not charging Bike with lights on would run for about 1hr before dying.
Now with everything being new Battery was dead to where I had no lights in about 10 to 15 min.

Ohh I charge the BAttery w/ Tender final volt reading after overnite charging was 14.1
Any Help would be great Help.
This has been a nightmare 3rd Gen 3 Reg 2nd Batt in 1 yr
I think it was one of those by the time I discovered my Reg was not good it fried my New Gen. So I go buy new Reg not knowing Gen was fried Put new Reg in and now the Gen I though was good now burns out my New REG

Just has been a vicious cycle Thats the reason I went out and bought all three together installed all three together and nothing as describe above

I called CE and tech said if all were NIB and gen was Polorized it sounds like the REGulator is Not Grounding Field If that makes any sense
