I set my mixture screws by the idle drop or hang method and don't care too much what happens to the idle while turning the screws.

I make a adjustment and blip the throttle. And see what the idle does. Hang, dip low, or settle to a steady idle right away........

And its a small blip.

I want a more broad area of input maybe something that worked for someone else not necessarily on an ironhead
