You can also have your 530 sprockets machined for a 520 chain. The pitch is the same, but the 520 is narrower. Have the sprockets machined on the inside and you will gain additional tire clearance. with the added benefit of cheaper chains...

For reference: hex head 3/8-16 hex head bolt head thickness is 0.2344 inch. Button head 3/8-16 bolt head thickness is 0.199 inch.

yeah i 520 is about 3 mm smaller than a 530... how about chain strenghts for dragracing.. ?

We’ve been running the 520 chain four season now without problems. The last two seasons with a 90 inch engine. They come in different tensile ratings, we’re using one of the stronger chains, can’ remember exact numbers but 8800 sounds right.

yeah i hear ya.. i hope i can run a shinko 180 without problems.. or else i will go 520..

I am redoing my rear end/chain tensioner on the frame since i dont have enough space there... will be machining new aluminium blocks for the axel and tensioner so i hope i can make more room.

Battery box, tank and oli tank mounted....

All rubber mounted to avoid anything breaking in the welds and shit..

I am gonna pickup my pegs set ... will need to fab the mounts up.. i got clipons on the way and 1/4 quick turn throttle..
