OK i feel like a Tool, BUT

i was still high school i was junior, heard rumors about some attacks in new york between my 1st and 2nd period class's while i was in the hall way. went to my 2nd hour math class and we all just watched, no one said a word! It was a very erie feeling. The rest of the day we went class to class just watching as things unfolded.(all the classrooms have a TV and cable)

That was the day I made my mind up about joining the military,(lots of family is military so it was always an option for me) graduated in 2002 went right from graduation to a summer break and went to basic and AIT 2002 into 2003 and the war broke out while i was in AIT, got sent to Fort campbell and was there no more then 22 days and sent to iraq to join my unit that was already in iraq just crossing in the inital invasion to iraq.

I was working at the time... I live in CT on the shorline about 45-50 mins outside the city. My Uncle helped build the towers as a steam fitter. He has long since passed away but the towers were always there, which was a bit comforting to me, I guess. Now they're gone too. The days that followed were a bit on the scary side, with the military patrols overhead constantly. It is a time in our lives I will never forget.

Just getting ready to go to work, I had my last cup of coffee for the day in my hand and the news on the tv in my bedroom on.

I was working on the roof of building 322 at IBM East Fishkill. It is about 8 miles from the Hudson River I saw a few planes fly overhead that morning maybe one of them was one that went into the towers, maybe not. I went to coffee break at 8:50 and on the way that is when we heard about the first plane. We stayed to 12 listening to the radio the whole time.

I was at work, running my small business, and one of my employees heard the news on the radio.
It was her birthday and her brother was in one of the buildings.
She found out later that he was safe.

I was just getting ready for work and had the news on and wasn't paying much attention, I thought it was some adversising for some movie at first. then I realized it was real. funny months later we got a new guy at work, he used to work at the WTC and was late for work that day (thank god)

I was working, walked by the break room and it was packed with people, I stepped in to see what was going on and everybody was watching it on tv.

I was working at Aetna at the time and our particular team worked with small businesses in northern NJ. Needless to say, the phones got very quiet that day. We tried using CNN.com to watch the events, but since everyone was doing it, it didn't work so well.

The worst memory was sitting in a small diner later that day watching a news program on their TV. They were showing the bodies dropping and you could hear the thuds. I'm usually not put off by the grotesque, but that just made me want to hurl and cry like a baby all at the same time.

Thanks to all those that serve.

Well, Al Quida was based in Afghanistan so we went there and that was easy nd most of the terrorists on the planes were Saudi's but Saudi Arabia sells us oil relatively cheep so we couldn't attack them and we don't like Iraq (just ask Gee Dubya)).

I was at my job watching on a little T.V., a friend was in the lobby of the other tower when the first tower went down, another friend was a fireman, no remains were ever identified.

I would gladly shoot, stab or strangle those responsible.

I have lost faith in our government's ability to identify them.
