Default dual front brakes for cheap

I used a caliper and master cylinder from ebay. I think they are from a kowasoki. I made a bracket out of aluminum. got a second brake rotor from ebay. total cast, under $100. I have the right caliper also but cant see how running it would make any difference.

to say the brakes work better is an understatement.

Its hard to say if I notice the increased unsprung weight. I know its there.


I had to change a tire in a parking lot and lost a bolt. the wrong bolt was temporary.

because the front now had better brakes I figured the rear needed more as well. ooops. too much.



the piece of aluminum on the axel WAS going to be a license plate mount
