Not to derail the thread, but sounds like a funny story from a few yrs back.
I was working in a shop in the 90’s and HD thought it would be a good timesaver to install a grease zirk fitting in the neck tube to ease in greasing the brgs on baggers without removing fairings ect. Pump some grease until you see some protrude out of lower berg cup. What they didn’t anticipate that there was a passage connecting the large square upper frame tube.
In walks a guy with a puzzled look trying to get some advice on his maintenance procedures on his shiny bagger. “How much grease does that really take?? I’ve put two full tubes in and I still don’t see anything???”
Needless to say, this was in Phoenix. Come summertime, that bike would ooze grease out of everywhere.

You been busy Davo!!
how many p.s.i. does the manual say they should run at?
Also what weight oil are you using .
just looking at all the info you have, interesting you have economy as you're riding. that would be interesting to see how it work's out when you change gearing & ride at different speed's & on different road surfaces & weather condition's. that's good info to have when your commuting the distances you do. I noticed riding down from Cairns three years back, some places a long way between servo's where you can get 98 octane .
thank's for the pic's and info.

I still need to read the manual more to see what it says about oil pressure to fully utilise the oil pressure gauge, if it has that info. At the moment all I know is the relief valve on the oil pump blows off at 50psi. The idea is after monitoring it for awhile I should get to know what pressures it runs at, that way hopefully I will notice any changes and can act on it quickly.

Yes all the fuel info is handy. It’s the best fuel gauge you can get, the fuel usage gauge is so accurate it’s crazy. The economy gauge would be out a little at the moment because the gearing I’m running and the speed sensor calibration don’t line up but when it is lined up its handy to gauge how far you can get on a tank when traveling and how any changes to the tune or gearing affect fuel economy.

Made another bracket for the oil pressure gauge. I’m happy with the position now, higher and level with the tacho.
