Here's the results from the semi where Fisher just missed making the main. 2.096 seconds off the leader isn't too bad for a rookie (GNC2) who had to go home and do his homework on Sunday, because he had to return to high school on Monday.

Results didn't cut & past very well so ITALIC is interval,BOLD is best lap,

1 17 Henry Wiles USC Racing,Hart Racing,J&M Logging,Tim Trowbridge... Kawasaki Ninja 650 10 Laps WINNER 0:19.596 10
2 5 Jake Johnson Zanotti Racing,Classic H-D,Harley-Davidson Motor... Harley-Davidson 750 0.161 0.161 0:19.458 10
3 16 Wyatt Maguire Wieblers Harley-Davidson,Pro 1 Racing,4-27... Harley-Davidson 750 1.063 0.902 0:19.726 10
4 67 Davis Fisher Harley-Davidson Motor Company Harley-Davidson 750 3.160 2.096 0:19.913 10

Time will tell, but I'm comfortable that the only thing at play was riders. With time, and experienced pilots I think this thing is definitely competitive with the XR's and Kaw's.

Flat Track Live has a video on their FB page of Fisher in this semi if you want to see for yourself.

My wife bought at 2016 XG 500 a few weeks ago.

I was very happy to see that they moved the stock horn to a new location behind the radiator.

I've ridden the bike a few times, and it is really amazing how well it handles. Feels very, very light. Low center of gravity. Very compliant and predictable in turns. Clutch is very easy. This is a GREAT beginner bike. It is a huge upgrade over the Buell Blast for the Rider's Edge course.

My wife learned to ride on a 2001 XL 1200. She didn't like all of the power and had trouble at slow turns. She's petite and dropped it a bunch of times.

She is much, much happier on the XG. She is getting over the anxiety from dropping the Sporty all those times. She's having more and more fun on every ride.

The salesman who helped my wife was ready to sell her a 750 for the price of a 500. They had 750s in stock but no 500. My wife insisted on the 500.

My wife, at 5 foor 4, is really digging the 500. I say go with it but the idiots at the dealer keep telling her to step up to the 750. Here is the problem, she has had several knee surgeries and the 500 does not bother her.

Actualy the 750 is lighter like the 1200 versus the 883.

this IMO is a salesman problem...
in my Country many firms do not allow experienced technicians to became salesmen precisely because they are inclined more toward the truth and the sheer facts

I get it, they are trained to upsell and I have no issue with that. However they need to be aware when the customer knows what they want and just sells them that.
