Looks like i could stack up a few washers that should do the trick.
They dont look straight. I think the bottom eye is closer together.

I use a mechanical pipe 1/2 ID by 1"OD to make 1/2" thick spacer. You need longer bolt to be safe.

You can notch the guard for shock clearance. There's no need to have guard material between the shock and belt. I used a flap disc on an angle grinder to do mine (big twin but the principle is the same). That guard was black so easy to touch up. Chrome would eventually flake at the ground edge...

I think that anyone who fits these shocks (me included) uses washers to space them out.
Usually 2 each top and bottom to keep the shocks even. Your boot looks it's sat wrong.

@farmall good point about the guard.

@harley506d the boot is not seated you are correct.

i measured with a straight edge on both sides and found the swingarm to be about 1/4 inch inboard of the frame so i will be ordering spacers, etc.

i want to set these up eventually with the line kit and a gauge.

@harley506d the boot is not seated you are correct.

i measured the frame with a straight edge on both sides and found the swingarm to be about 1/4 inch narrower than the frame on each side so i will be ordering spacers, etc.

I mounted some air shocks the other day. I also want to keep the belt guard. I found with 3 SAE 1/2" washers on top and bottom it would clear. The issue there is that you then need a longer bolt. I bought the next longer bolt at the hardware store and it was too long, it would have interfered with the belt sprocket. So, I decided to just remove the belt guard for the time being, until I get around to cutting off/re-threading a bolt. I'm not sure if the belt guard is that necessary for me, since I don't usually have a passenger.
