The 05 Sportster has a crankshaft sensor. You can NOT alter it or "tune" it. You can get an aftermarket ignition modual which you can increase the rev limiter and change the spark advance curve. Get a K&N air filter and free flowing exhaust while you're at it. Those 3 things will wake up your Sportster . . . without a tune.
