Sounds tight Flame.

I am just waiting to see how all this paranoia plays out. Texas is closed all April.
Local TV news has polls on whether everyone should wear masks out here when leaving the house.

All I got is bandanas and old T shirts in the rag barrel.

Hope trimming the fat gets everyone back to
" This to will pass "
Ok.

Well a typical April 1st in Dubois, snowing like hell right now.
Plenty of work in the shop and beer in the fridge.

Currently 70F here in the dark.
Gonna be 90F here today.
Local News is showing infections graphs if no one social distance themselves going in to July.

Lot's of Hot coffee chugging here. I am gearing my attitude to continue on car/shade port in front of the shop.

Looks like this summer is shot for me. No out of town travel.

Sending you all some virtual hugs (they come with dog hair and all )

It seems life goes on, but it doesn't. Those of us not deemed essential workers, may feel like we are biding time right now as the world shifts its priorities to cope. Of course the essential workers, particularly those on the health front, are either at full throttle or preparing for such. I'm simply hoping we all come out the other side okay.

In Australia our Government is actually doing a surprisingly good job in ensuring people aren't left in crisis as our economy grinds to a halt. I hope the same holds true for you all; that we all keep our heads above water. I also hope beyond hope that you all stay healthy. I try not to fixate, but I'm alarmed watching the statistics in Europe and the US exploding. My own quarantine is over without any ill health... now to keep it that way.

On the weather front, today is another gorgeous day here; about 28oC with a nice sea breeze. Pups and I have walked the property; we'll go for a swim in the dam later, and in the interim dream up ways to horde fuel while the price is so low (well, maybe the pups will just be dreaming up ways to chase the ducks). I'm so blessed that my home is my sanctuary and despite whatever future plans may be now on hold, I have my own little hideaway where peace is but a cup of coffee and a slow exhale away... it's just a shame I don't especially like my own cooking

Thanks for that Trace, and I too have my own special hid-a-way, although others would call it a construction zone, dealing with a starter issue just now so going through the DT’s missing the wind in the face! Yes, I will be in violation of our lockdown order....except for chasing down essential foodstuffs. Best wishes to all of you in this trying times.
