I took an Arlen Ness air breather and tapped hose barbs into the breather tubes....let me show you:

I did something similar with my Dyna on an SS breather:

The Deimus Mod is also here in the Sportsterpedia:
http://sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/t...ref:engmech05d

Lots of breather mod info on this page with links to specific mods.

There is no data / proof that venting from the cam chest is any better than from the heads.
Some prefer it, some choose to keep them in the heads.

The Hayden Krankvent is just a 91-03 umbrella in a designed enclosure.
The reed valve also has it's pros and cons.

If you are just looking for cosmetic changes, check out the pages in the second link I gave.

If blow-by becomes an issue and starts loading up my air filter I'm going to need a option to vent to atmosphere. The design in the above links would be fine if all of us had a lathe and a full workshop. Sadly I do not and a 'Kit' will be required. I had a bolt on kit like that on my 98 DWG years ago that worked well. I may need to see what DK is offering as I'm getting to the age where I prefer to ride more and spend less time doing mods. I enjoyed it in the past but not anymore.
