Default Stock wires for coil relocation

Hello guys, anyone has experience using the stock spark plug wires for a V-coil relocation?

I have a bracket for the relocation and everything ready for a wire tuck and a tank lift, but I won't be able to get the short wires for a time.

Of course I could wait, but I'd like to know if anyone has either used the stock wires when relocating in the meantime (I know one's too long but will the other be too short?) or done the tuck leaving the coil in place for now?

Thanks!

I am unsure if your coil relocation ( v-coil ) is the same as mine.
However i purchased another stock shorter Plug lead, 'exact same one as the small stock lead that comes with the bike' so used both the short leads. It can be purchased as an individual piece. Used it for my coil relocation for a couple of years now. It may seem a fraction tight in fitting but connects solid and is still safe to use. Can order from the local Harley dealer. Cheap as well.
Ride Safe.

Thank you Bikeaholic! I finally did the relocation using the stock leads while I wait for a new couple of short wires I've ordered!

Everything worked like a charm. Of course, one of the wires is too long and I wrapped it for this next couple days.

So, while you're on the subject. I have just got my relocate done, tank lift, wire tuck. I made my own brackets for all of it. I mounted the coil pointing down and hooked the plug wires up front to front rear to rear. I had seen pics on the web hooked up that way. When I tried to start it I got a loud popso I swapped the wires and it fired right up. The plug wires are pretty tight length wise. Reckon it will be alright? They snap on good just stretched a bit. Thanks Mark
