Our system is much different from yours. For example, in reality, we only have two parties. You guys have what? Seventeen or eighteen?

Above 90 percent of your voting age people actually vote. We barely get above 50 percent.

Our system really sucks. In our system, we often have to wait 3-4 hours in line to vote. We try to use computers and automated voting machines. Which makes it easy to cheat or, have major screw ups. Some States use paper where you must punch out paper holes and often times doesn't work properly. Again, easy to cheat. Whereas, your paper and pencil system is virtually bulletproof.

Correct
Precisely for that i wrote so
I know very well your system and Constitution...
i studied it many times...
Anyway...
IMO that principle is valid for both...
difference is that my political landscape is far worse than yours
Yet i not live in US then what you say is for me source of great attention

Still valid an offer for a coffe between the two of ours

I think the rules of this forum are pretty clear. When I started this thread, I figured that it would get people to go out and vote. I did not state any bias either way, even though I have pretty strong opinions. And maybe somebody can feel justified in not voting, but I'm not one of those people.

I did not start this thread so that it could turn into a political argument. Political arguments have ruined a few long term friendships that I've witnessed and even caused a fist fight at a Moto Guzzi rally.

The elections are over. Let's let this thread die peacefully.

As your will
For me it was an interesting argument though...
Ordinary life is not made, sadly, of only rides...
