I saw the new Nightster in Florida last month. To me it looked cheap with a lot of plastic. To each their own as it isn’t a bike I’d buy but will suit many others. I really don’t care for the gas tank location either.

I saw one the other day at my local dealer.
To me it looks very unfinished on the left hand side, better covers could take care of that. The seat height is a little more than my Superlow and the seat is a little harder. The seating position has me leaning forward, so without a test ride to confirm it, I would want the bars changing.
The red is a nice colour.

The local dealer had the demo truck this weekend and fortunately did not do much advertising which meant there were no lines on Sunday. I rode both the Nightster and Low Rider ST.
For the Nightster I did not like the seating position. I like to sit upright, not leaning forward which hurt my back. Also I had my modular helmet and due to my being accustomed to a windshield I had to ride it with the face closed resulting in my being unable to see the gauges without looking down and taking my eyes off the road, something I am not fond of. Obviously these are personal preference things and are easily fixed with a new set of bars/risers.
The bike handled well and seemed to have plenty of power and stopped well. Overall, not bad in my opinion. Would I buy one? Hard to say as I am not in the market for another Sporty right now and I may go a different direction for a rally/touring bike. I'd need to do some research on charging system output, how easily I could add an auxiliary fuel tank, etc. Stuff that probably only I would need.
For the Low Rider ST my first impression as I was pulling out was "Holy cow, these pegs are high!" I'd certainly need to lower them or preferably replace them with floorboards. Otherwise I like the power and handling, I like the looks, etc. The only thing I'd add would be more lights because I like a lot of light. I also would consider adding a taller windshield. Overall I like the bike and I would consider one if I were in the market for a new bike

I saw a Nightster at one of the two dealers in my city. It looked pretty good to me and felt well when I sat on it. There was one major flaw, and it wasn’t even HD’s fault:
The dealer added a $6,000 mark up on a bike that is already overpriced. I laughed out loud when I read that sticker.

You haven't tried to buy a Pan America; have you? I know that the going price for a Pan America was $25,000 last winter. Since that time, I've seen two PAs and one Spurtster S at the local emporium, and they all sold quickly.
The new Nightsters must be selling well; I have yet to see one in a dealership. Of course, I don't get to too many dealerships very often, but I still haven't seen one.
