I rode secondary and tertiary roads for 5 hours in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. It was sweet.

Dumped the Road King in loose sand in Florida. Picked her up and continued on. Don't ride the Sporty in the dirt.

Struggled but got the gas tank back on the HotRod bike. Issues mounting the A/C will need a couple parts from S&S but, carb is mounted so added Lucas fuel treatment and fresh 90 no-methanol fuel. New L.E.D.voltmeter Showed 12.9 on the new battery, raised choke plunger, hit the key and....voila, started and runs, yea. Been over 6 years so heaved a sigh of relief. Meter showing 14.5 at 1,500 r.p.m. not too shabby. Doing some 10 second runs, got oil returning to the oil tank and motor chatter quieted right down. Looks like I’m over the hill with the end in sight.
And.............the whole Country is celebrating for me, kool!!!

Not pleased anymore by my hbars, after having buckhorns fitted for almost an year now.I*ve done this aiming for a stockish look,in order to pass inspection, due engine swap(2003/883-1200)Here the techs do not have a friendly aproach via custom parts.Well after a couple of days trial, these bars will hang on the wall for good, after several years.Have to admit, the buckhorns provide the best handling especially,on slippery/gravel/snowy surface;after chopping them and pres fitted/welded metric ends,is going back on the bike.
