Going to take my first long(er) ride of the year.

Should be 50 or so by 11 AM, heading to the next town east (77 miles)
for some parts and maybe lunch (to-go only). Going with 2 friends.
Our last snow just melted a few days ago so we got to take advantage
when we can.

BTW, Wyoming was never in a 'lockdown' mode. And since our only auto
parts store closed (not Covid related) this is a business trip of sorts.

My shop is full of bikes and got plenty to do.

Some pics from the ride. It was a great day to ride.

This is Sinks Canyon, Lander WY.
The Popo Agie river 'sinks' into the ground and come back to the surface
at the 'Rise' about a mile down the road. These are at the Rise.

Popo Agie is pronouced: "Puh - Po Shuh"

Not sure how you get Shuh from Agie... language can be such an amazing mystery. Cool pics... looks a bit chilly for swimming with the fish Pleased you enjoyed your ride.

Just doing Hot and Hotter here. Framing on carport is finished. Outdoor work determined by body aches and wind.

Coffee is fresh and hot.

I loaded up the Huskvarna sm610 super moto in the bed of my truck and headed down to speedfoos place down by San Antonio but more laid back in the hill country. Rain was forcasted for the whole week.

Bumper to Bumper traffic outside of kerville when the cops pulled everyone off I10 and dumped us about 7 miles away from the freeway. Problem was. That detour also had accidents. Tractor Trailer,
Texas 2 lane nightmare for about 30 miles. Once past kerrville and back on i10. Smooth sailing all the way to his place.

He has a nice hill country crib with a good garage and some nice scooters .
We unloaded the supermoto. Then we did the paperwork check . Loaded frame
and rest of hardtail project. Dark thirty now.

Had a good dinner he cooked for me with veggies from his garden. He is a coffee connoisseur.
Had a good night sleep.

Next morning he had a appt for the VA he had to go to. So we just loaded the husky back up and I headed home. Only had to stop once to re-tie down everything and re-arrange the load a bit.

That was the trip. Right now. Shutting down this laptop anfd going back outside to climb ladders and throw r panel into the air to land on high angle iron and purlin supports. No blueprints. Nothing on paper in fact. Doing this all as plays out in my head.

So far. The shade feels good.
