I will not be doing things to my bike, that i dont have the confidence or know how
to do it ,i can only see disaster ,
Takes all my time to get photos to size, the only thing i would like to get on bike is a bit easier starting ,,
ive priced those TC88A at $400 if i had to get sent to uk i would have customs to pay about $100.
The speed limit over here is 70mph my HD will do that ,if i need to go faster i have another bike that will double that ,but its getting harder to find roads with out speed cameras ,one camera will also pick up sound decibels to loud and you get a ticket maybe 3points on licence get 12points and you get a ban

Hey Stikflote,
Is that the case, you have a camera that can also measure decibels? Good grief i never would have thought of such a thing.
Ride Safe.

First I've heard of a speed camera that measures sound pressure. Frankly, I don't believe it.

I take it back, it seems it is real. I'm dubious about how well it could work though. What about the effects of wind; what about more than one vehicle being in the vicinity of the 'camera' at the same time.

And what noise level will they be checking for, since many vehicles on the road pre date the reduction of the allowable level to 74 dB(A)?

Those of us in the UK may remember the government came up with a road side devise they said could check the emissions from passing cars and started issuing on the spot fines, of course when those fined took their cars in to be checked by dealers there was nothing wrong with them. The UK government loves a good stealth tax.
