I live in Socal so i can ride over 300 days a year. My first bike was a New 1970 honda 750.
My latest sportster is a 2014 Iron and i love it.

P.S. i was born and raised in CA and i absolutely despise living here now. Ruined a good thing.Few real freedoms anymore. Nanny state.
We know what is good for you so take it and shut up

Congrats on the Sporty.
I couldn't imagine living in that state, IL is bad enough.

I rode from '66 to '80. Had 4 bikes. Put about 210,000 on them, & then got away from it. Started back in '02 & have put 199,000 on 3 Sporties since. Good times.

I've ridden all kinds and sizes of bikes since 1963 but I am riding my first Sporty which I've owned for 14 months. In spite of bad weather, I've ridden it every single month. It's probably going to be my last motorcycle but that's OK. I love it! I'll ride it until I can't.
