Default Standing on kick stand lean angle enough?

Hi Gents.

Bike's lowered, and I had to chop an inch or 2 out of the stand, but still not sure I've got enough parked lean angle.

What do you think?

cheers,
gid

I'd say you're OK....just might wanna be careful where you park and who might be hanging around your bike.... kids for example.

I;d hack off a 1/4 inch and check again. But. I am large and heavy. I figure weight into this.

Previous poster is right though. You are real close to dead nuts for lean angle..

As long as your rear tire stays inflated it's no problem. If there's a leak it might tip over.

It should be a little effort to lift the bike upright from its resting position. If it's real easy to set it upright from that position,
then you might have trouble anywhere the ground/pavement is not 100% flat...

I prefer to park in neutral, so that also comes into play... The bike will move/slide with the kickstand down if the bike
is too upright because there will be less weight pressing the kickstand into the ground/pavement...

Personally, going by your pics, I'd want a little more...

electric foot is ok as the jiffy locks. i am old school manual foot and like more lean since jousting the foot sometimes make the machine jump up and i have a non locking stand.

but some good suggestions, as more lean parks easier on steeper grades.

You’ll be fine. My sporty has been lowered
since almost new and I never cut down the jiffy stand.

Mine is lowed too and didnt change the kickstand. I do have to lean right to get it down and it doesn't lean a lot but it's fine and I don't worry about it.

Thanks all for the feedback.
I'm running a 200 tire on a wider swingarm, and I can't easily kick down the stand.

I'll have to weld a bar on it to make it easier to reach, so might just shave a bit more off it while doing that.

I'll let you know how I get on.

regards,
gid
