Nice write up in your chronically, thank you for sharing.
Oh, I expect snow and rain in tomorrow’s ride....will have to be very throttle conscious!

As another Paul said:
Slip slidin' away
Slip slidin' away
You know the nearer your destination
The more you're slip slidin' away
I happened on to a Dead End Road while riding the other day - When I put on the rear brake to make a u-turn, the back end slipped around on the gravel - Not enough to cause any kind of tipping over, but just enough to cause that 'Oh, Crap' feeling...
Be safe out there....

I was riding the other day when the temps were in the low 40's. It was cold but still nice to be out and about.
The sky in winter is often much different than in summer. I enjoy both.
I think it will be at least two weeks before we see warmer weather.

I was riding on 12/12 of 2020!
I rode about 70 miles in mid-50's temps. I passed about 6-8 other bikes.
I visited Gettysburg. There are still a few areas from which I have no pics. Howard Avenue east was one of those. I headed there to visit Barlow's Knoll, the site of a rather disastrous encounter.
(Barlow's brief history here: https://emergingcivilwar.com/2020/07...ah-benner-farm)
Winter days are short and when the sun was fading, I headed for home!

Very nice Ken and I too got out for just short of 200 miles. With temps in the low 20’s I didn’t want to push it though. Glad I wasn’t the only one, however I didn’t see another bike out today, go figure.

Well, Paul - You wouldn't have seen me, either, if the temps were below 40°...
You're a tough old bird!

Christmas Day ... Snowing & Cold!
I might get one more ride in 2020. The temperature one day this week is supposed to be above 45° which will allow me to ride for about an hour - If the roads are clear by then.
We shall see...

White Christmas here in S.E. Michigan, just over an inch in Shelby Township. Looking like a snow ride for me to get home, ugh!

So now I've had my last ride for 2020!
The creeks have ice, the roadways still have snow along the edge and the ponds are totally frozen over.
I think the temperature was 42°, but with the 15mph gusting wind, it sure felt like 32°.
I shared a lot of riding with my brother this year & had the chance to ride some roads with my cousin - It was great!
KT has been very reliable as in the past. KooL Therapy was only a twist of the throttle away.
As always, My Motorcycle Chronicles have more info about my rides. I have posted 170 pictures there
and I hope my readers have enjoyed all of those and the ones in this thread.
I have encountered many beautiful scenes this year.
I look forward to more riding next year.
But, the Coronavirus Panic has made the rest of life much more turbulent.
I fear for the future of America.
Be sure to look for my new thread for 2021 in the next few days.
