out for a ride at 14.00 till 17.00
reached a mountain lake reservoir at 3k feet...
roads deserted... few ways to flog the bike...
since from the plain there were freezing temps, roads mostly wet with some ice on some shadow corners... easy to spot in advance though...
all under a blind sun with a prussian blu sky... purple red at dusk...
no photo... i ever rode my bike without any stop...

could be Yoda... you have your point...

anyway

- there were some days when you just want to ride without stop home to home for some 200 kms in the dead of the winter...

- if i have taken pictures i would have posted in "stress killer" like many other times, instead of this thread...

cheers

I've finished the "Scrambler" pipes setup on my 1960 XLCH. I needed to readjust the magneto as the pipes are close to them. I made a spin. Everything seems ok except that my clutch disc need to be changed. It's 2°C outside so the oil need a lot of miles to get warm ! End december I sanded and painted the oil tank. As it was realy empty I mesure that 2.3l neded to get low level and 1.2l more to get max level. As it's not good to have too much oil it will be easier for me to full it corectly when on the side stand.

Last night I installed the LA Fairing Co. El Diablo Fairing, and blacked out the blue AMF rainbow stripes with some matte black car-wrap. I'm really happy with the way she's turning out...

Snapped this pic when i got to work this morning.

Today I went to the H-D dealership. They had a fantastic inventory. As usual, by the time I came out I still like mine the best. Newer is not always better.

A new floating front brake disc arrived for my Sportster. Won't get put on 'til I have the front end apart for some reason, but it's here. Came with new bolts included. It's a Sunstar brand disc for those inquiring minds.
