Since 1957, an air-cooled engine has been at the heart of the Sportster model Harley-Davidson.
In 2022, at age 65, that engine design has been forced into retirement. But, like many
retirees, those models will not go away quietly. In fact, they will rumble on
down the roads for many, many more years.

The new generation of motorcycles that have the Sportster name are intended to live on the stolen valor
of that 65-year-old design. Time will tell whether they will get away with that theft.
Those who have bonded with their Sportsters over their ownership, know they have
a unique quality to them. There is an unbelievably vast aftermarket of parts
suppliers to keep the air-cooled Sportster on the road forever.

Oh, Never Mind... Those that love them will continue to do so. Others will not care.

I didn't know that after 65 years in the USA you've to obligatory take your retirements, too bad for the sportster.

Ah, never mind.

Everyone's amazed by the Suicide Knob that Hank puts on his sled.

Oh, Never Mind... The turning radius is so wide, it makes no difference...
