I went and bought more new parts today , I've been buying more ebay stuff too .
The budget for this month is gone.
That escalated rather quickly ................. I'm good at spending money , sort of a git er' dun style instead of dragging it out over a decade or two.

Yeah, I only own a Corvette.
But I'm saving up to buy a station wagon.

Proud to say , I've never owned a touring bike , The closest thing to that I've owned is a 96 Buell S2T .
I have resisted the urge to buy a bagger several times , a road king would be as touring as I'd get , a Shovelhead FLH has nice curb appeal and I'd be happy with one of those . As far as a modern gadget loaded touring job .............. pppppppfffffffffff , not gonna happen.

I probably shouldn't bag the baggers.
I get it. We all get old. And some of us put on a lot of weight. And get grey hairs.
The bike is an extension of one's ego. Some feel big, expensive and flashy is the way to go. I suspect some just like long distance biking.
I was impressed by the Bose Stereo on the last BT I looked at. Couldn't run one on any of my bikes though. No batteries.
