Default Lectron Carbs: anyone used them?

There’s a trade in promo, (not that I would give up the CV40, but these carbs seem darn easy to muck around with.

I have one, keep your CV for street but if you go on track, Lectron is kind of a big throttle body that can feed you high acceleration need on a snap of the wrist.

They can be set to run on alcohol, they also have an adapter plate to fit on a regular CV-40.

Best to phone them and ask what you need. Easy to tune and a good supply of part is available. Pro-Snowmobile and motocross when carburetted are often equip with those carburetor, they have rail to align 4 carburetor in a row.

Better to have be a good boy because Santa will have to spend around 650$ for a sportster kits.

The reviews are not good.
I think the next time I have to mess with a carb it will come in the form of a Mikuni install.
The only thing I race are thoughts in my head.

The reviews not good??? One of the fastest XL Forum members wrote that it's one of the best investment he did on his hot bike.

They are crisper carburetor than the Mikuni, that why in street mod they don't have the smoothness of the CV.

On the track, either 1/4 miles or hill-climbing they are just the best.

The Mikuni is in between of the CV and the Lectron.

It was one of the first racing parts in the Screamin-Eagle's line.

Lot of older XLR has them on and rip that dirt track at 100mph.
