Please be sure that you wire the Regulator Output on the Keyswitch-side of the Main Fuse or Circuit Breaker.

If you connect it directly to the Battery or on the Battery-side of the Main Fuse (CB), it will allow a failure of the Regulator to burn up the motorcycle. Wired directly will allow the Battery to supply 200+ amps directly into the Regulator & cause that wiring to become red-hot, potentially setting the bike on fire!

Despite the MoCo wiring some models with the Regulator connected directly to the Battery, that wiring is wrong - it needs to be on the other side of the Main Fuse (CB). They issued a correction in the replacement versions of the Regulator.
