Went by and looked at my conversion today.
Rick (Indy) has assembled the engine and all that needs to be added is the ignition module.
Rick wants to put the first 25 miles on the engine to start the break-in and to be sure all is well.

Should be a different bike!

Not sure what the total cost is going to be, but this should open a new chapter in ownership.

Steppenwolf:
Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure
And whatever comes our way..

Want the first 500 miles to be uneventful.

After that, might ride the back roads to Tallahassee (165 Miles), then take it through Georgia and cross over into Alabama before heading back home (Fort Walton Beach).

WIll plan a night at a campground in Alabama.

Glad to hear you're getting closer...

I think it's a good idea for 'Rick' to put a few miles on the bike - Once he's done, I would take it on a few short rides around your area, listening for smooth operation & checking to see that nothing seems out of sorts...

Any issues should be brought to his attention immediately...

Good Luck...
