Rick Swiderski XLCR Racing Motorcycle
Please find more photos...
After the shakedown at Cadwell Park we found that we could not carryout hard acceleration due to clutch slipping. We concentrated on setting up the suspension and finding out the handling and tyre limits. We have firred Avon AM22 front AM23 rear soft race tyres.
Back at the workshop, we took off the primary chain cover to find the clutch is off a XR/XRTT 75. Upon inspection the Raybestos friction plates were well past there best. The metal plates were cleaned up, new Akto kevlar friction plates fitted with new Barnett 50lbs HD springs.
